Our Initial Blog

Even though we have several editions of our website, this is our initial Blog. We wanted our Blog information to have a general theme, as we publish future articles, we will add to our timeline, what is going on in our organization and the construction business arena.

One thing all construction entities are aware of is the “challenges” we are presented with by each project. Each project has a unique challenge, no matter the size of the project, extremely large or small, they all present some kind of exclusive encounter.

We can heavily invest our resources to come up with the greatest project plan, “BUT” somewhere along the timeline an exclusive challenge is initiated. A sampling of our unique challenges; during excavation digging up a Jeep no one had a clue it was buried, earthquakes prior to job start (mother nature is a major unique challenge contributor), snakes and mosquitoes to the extent it required special clothing, just to name a few encounters.

J.I. Garcia Construction learned early in our business life; unique unplanned challenges will happen. We soon developed a strategy to address these challenges, not the individual challenge but the “challenge process”; quickly identify, immediately address, swiftly communicate with everyone that needs to know, Don’t “fumble” the solution.

The “challenge” issue is a good example of J.I. Garcia Construction’s professional attributes; ability to problem solve, a lineup filled with creative minds, and last but not least, using communication as a treasured resource.
