J.I. Garcia Construction is working to set an example as an environmentally-friendly company in the construction industry. Our Company has participated with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). J.I. Garcia Construction has been involved on the Community Enrichment Center project for the Fresno Housing Authority (LEED Certified), the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC) Fire Station in Bridgeport (targeting a LEED Silver Certification) and the MCMWTC Child Development Center in Bridgeport (targeting a LEED Gold Certification).

Even when it is not required, J.I. Garcia Construction implements sustainable design techniques on its projects, such as protecting environmentally sensitive areas, using energy saving methods and recycling materials. Our “green” approach extends from our projects to our main office, where we make every effort to reduce paper waste, use environmentally-friendly products, recycle and save energy.
