Naval Postgraduate School (Monterey, CA.) Barracks Project

This project consists of the design and construction of a new, approximately 12,271 SF, Enlisted Barracks Addition to Building 836 to bring up a total of approximately 22,933 SF to house a total of 44 E5 and E6 personnel at the Presidio of Monterey Phase III for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District. The building will be constructed using cold-formed metal stud bearing wall framing, exterior plaster systems, wood truss and concrete tile roof.

This project includes the additions of two 3-story room cluster towers on each side of the existing building including bedrooms, lounges, fire protection (detection/alarm system), utilities, and communications. Electrical, mechanical and plumbing upgrades are also required. Anti-terrorism/force protection (AT/FP) measures will also be incorporated in the design of the structure.
